RHINOPLASTY

Dr. Soteriou is a Rhinoplasty Specialist dealing with both Primary Rhinoplasties and Revision Rhinoplasties. He was trained in all types of primary and more complicated revision rhinoplasties under the guidance of world famous rhinoplasty surgeons during his 7 year training at Hadassah University Hospital in Israel.

Rhinoplasty procedure is considered the most elegant procedure of Plastic Surgery. Nose is situated in the middle of the face, draws significant attention to itself and can detract from an otherwise attractive face.

Even though a high level of technical skill is needed to perform a rhinoplasty surgery, an artistic vision is necessary to create a great result. This is actually the reason why Dr Soteriou is so passionate about performing rhinoplasty surgeries.

THE CONSULTATION:

During the consultation, Dr. Soteriou will listen to your concerns and goals regarding rhinoplasty surgery and he will spend as much time as necessary to make you feel comfortable and will answer all your questions.

Since every patient is unique, rhinoplasty has to be strategically and precisely tailored to each individual.

Dr. Soteriou uses the Open Rhinoplasty approach in order to have the opportunity to reshape any part of the nose needed versus the Closed Rhinoplasty approach with its limitations.

THE PROCEDURE:

The procedure is performed at American Medical Center under general anesthesia although it can be performed under local anesthesia with sedation. You might stay overnight.

After surgery you will go home with a nasal cast and it will be removed after a week.

Dr. Soteriou doesn’t insert nasal tamponades in the nostrils during rhinoplasty procedures.

Patients typically return to light daily activities the day after surgery. The look of your nose will improve gradually until 4 weeks after surgery and the final result is expected 6 months after surgery.
